Honey Buzzard over the patch

Local patch: at 18.30 pm a nice adult Honey Buzzard came in flight from the sea, heading north-east. It was a bit blown by the southerly wind, until it circled a few times over the patch...before disappearing beyond the horizon (year's first!).
Also: few House Martins, Common Swifts, 3 Swallows. Yesterday a flock of about 15 Alpine Swifts was flying above Barcola among a bigger group of Commons.
Local nests: Great Tits doing well, Blackbird nesting in a thick bush (just discovered today) and the Starling's pair always very busy at carrying food to their chicks (in the old horse-chestnut tree).

That's all for now...
